GTEC is a conference targetted mainly towards the public sector. Big IT players show off their products to the government agencies and demonstrate how their product can help towards a better governance. This year GTEC was from 23th-25 October at the Ottawa Congres Centre. I was part of Microsoft Canada's crew and demonstrated Windows Vista and Office 2007 to the attendees there. It was a lot of fun and I was surprised at the number of people who had tried out the BETA versions of Windows Vista; everyone seemed to be so excited about the product !
